About me in 10 seconds

๐Ÿ‘‹ Hey there! I'm a human-centred product design wizard full of passion when it comes to crafting desirable, inclusive, accessible and scalable user experiences.

As an ENFJ with tons of energy to spare, I find myself sparking my own initiatives often and I love to gab about all things pop culture, history and board games.

My magical touch ๐Ÿช„

Strong collaborator

I believe that building the best user-centered experiences come not only from collaborating with the user but also with the team behind it all. I have a strong background and experience in working with a multi-disciplinary team of product owners, developers, solution designers and architects to deliver B2B and B2C products and services.

Agile & data-driven

Continuously updating and incorporating agile best practices into my ways of working to ensure that projects are delivered on time without any tradeoffs in providing the best data-driven user experience and stakeholder value.

Culture and UX champion

As someone working in a relatively new space, I understand the problems in having stakeholders appreciate the value of designers in their team. I am relentless in my beliefs of the value that a UX designer brings and I enjoy organising events that bring teams together!

Continuous learner

I follow the rule to be 1% better everyday and I spend every morning dedicated to improving my technical and soft skills. You can find me reading books or tinkering with designing for new technologies such as VR.

Timeline

๐Ÿ“š Jun 2019-Jun 2022

Bachelor of Commerce (Economics major)

University of Melbourne

From university studies, I developed a huge love for behavioural economics - the understanding of why and how people behave the way they do in the real world.

๐Ÿ“š Dec 2021-Sep 2022

๐Ÿ’ผ Nov 2022-Oct 2023

Product (UX/UI) Design Intern

National Australia Bank

During my time as an intern, I was able to rotate amongst the different stakeholders I work with and benefited from building great relationships and a better understanding of the value I bring to the team.

๐Ÿ’ผ Oct 2023 - Present

Certificate in UX and UI Design

CareerFoundry

I took my love for this understanding further by enrolling into UX to understand its implications in the digital world except now I get to play a part of influencing peopleโ€™s behaviours positively through the use of delightful and desirable experiences.

Product (UX/UI) Designer

National Australia Bank

I was able to land a role as an official product designer on the team and during my time here I worked in designing colleague and customer experiences for business everyday banking products:

  • Reduced frictions by at least 50% in projects engaged

  • Contributed in designing components for NABโ€™s design system

More than work, I was persistent in organising and hosting out-of-work events to build trust and bond with teams in this wonderful world of hybrid working.

I also was involved in hosting other work events to organise activities and advocate for the importance of design to other stakeholders
